Gone but not Forgotten
Apr. 13th, 2005 06:07 pmOne of my favorite lists had this topic today. I liked it, so I'm
posting it here, too. I've removed any identifying information from
the original post. Feel free to comment with your own list.

I haven't seen a movie in the theaters since August of last year.
There are too many to list that I saw in the listings for the dollar
theater and thought, "That's in the dollar movie already?" Now, I'm
resigned. I just see the ads and put them on my Netflix list.

Every scent I've ever liked at Bath & Body Works - most of them I
never see on the shelves until they are clearancing out their stock on
a discontinued item. GRRRRRR.

My friend Michael. I met Michael at Six Flags when I worked there,
and he's as touchy-feely as I am. He's also one of veeerrrry few
straight men I've known with whom I'm comfortable being this way, safe
in the knowledge that he's not going to turn into Mr. Octopus at the
first opportunity. I'm in Texas and he's in Colorado. I sure miss
his hugs and watching Bab 5 on the couch while he plays with my hair.
:(
Also, Dallas used to have a station called the Merge. It played a
wondermous variety of music from 60's to today's alternative, with no
concentration on any one area. I was introduced to dozens of artists
or songs that I'd never heard before and really liked. It was rudely
replaced one day (during evening drive-time) by the Bone, which is yet
another classic rock station playing stuff from my high school days
which is not classic rock, thankyouverymuch. We now have Jack FM,
which is not exactly the same, but close enough that I can listen all
day without changing the station. But even after 2 or 3 years, I
still miss the Merge.

My ex-husband. Go away, already! (Actually, he's gone, in prison,
but like a bad penny, he'll turn up in about a year).

Date: 2005-04-13 09:32 pm (UTC)Dominic Purcell is in one of the better looking FOX drama pilots. He plays a man wrongly convicted of murder and the season of the show is about how his brother breaks him out of jail. Good people - Wentworth Miller is the brother, Stacy Keach is in it. The film director Brent Ratner is doing the pilot - it could work.
Take Care
