Way to Go!
Nov. 12th, 2004 01:48 pmYesterday was the 2nd anniversary of my mother's death. I was feeling really down and depressed all day without a clue what the hell was wrong with me. I put it down to Veteran's Day and money troubles and whatnot.
My sister (who came in from out of town to attend) brought Kid home after the Veteran's Day program at school, by way of a couple of hours at Whataburger. After she'd left to start the (very) long drive home to Austin, my daughter mentions the whole gramma dying two years ago thing and how it was weird that it was on Veteran's Day. Ta Da! Light bulb going off.
I so need a personal assistant to remind me of shit like this, so at least when I'm off my game, I know why.
