Random TV

Hawaii 5-0 this week was one big sobfest.    Gods, I am such a sap.

OK.  Maybe not all of it - the girl beating Kamekona's cousin was pretty funny.  Her personality shone through even that huge Sumo wrestler fat suit.

I love that this time, it was Danny who went off the deep end and Steve who walked away and let him.  That was marvelous.

Even before I knew who the burly bikers were, I was tearing up, because I knew it had some connection to the missing girl.  Wonder if they were just playing a part, or if they brought in an actual biker group who does that to play themselves?

The ending was just about perfect - stunningly evocative, the voiceover as the camera pans across her parents.

And always, always, I am astonished by how much the Swayze brothers look alike, and yet somehow Patrick's features were put together in such a visually appealing way when his brothers are just...not.

That, of course, takes us back to, how does Mara put it?  ...the show it all goes back to. TM  Something like that.  lol

Random adventure

Well, adventure might be putting too fine a gloss on it.

Friday, after a focus group meeting, I was walking to my car, minding my own business, when I fell.  This is not unheard of in my life.  Matter of fact, it's at least the third or fourth time this year I've fallen for no apparent reason.  And yes, usually it's on solid ground, no obstacles in my way.  Go figure.  I don't usually hurt myself very badly, though I've gotten a really bad sprain, a fractured ankle and a broken toe from past falls.  I've sworn off going to the movies for people's birthdays, because the aforementioned?  All happened when I went to the movies for people's birthdays.  lol

Anyway.  Pictures below the cut.  You will please to politely ignore the razor stubble.  Damn the resolution in my phone's camera.  Damn it, I say.  :)
