Once More, With Feeling

I've been having a hankering to rewatch Once More With Feeling, so I added that one DVD from season 6 to my Netflix queue and moved it to the top. I got it yesterday. I looked at it and apparently smiled some special way because my daughter asked me if I'd gotten some porn.
I grinned from beginning to end while watching, then watched the other three episodes while working on some paperwork, then went to sleep to Once More With Feeling yet again.
There is OMWF karaoke, with words! As if we don't all have the lyrics memorized already. Sheesh!
I've decided that I'll buy season 1 when it comes out in slimpack, then I'll buy season 6, because I love this episode too much to ever be without it again.
I easily picked up exactly where everybody was character-wise, and loved seeing things unfold, knowing what's coming up. It adds an extra poignancy to Anya's wondering and Willow and Tara fighting. I'd forgotten that this is the beginning of the big Spuffy thing.
I love the expressions on Brendan's face during Xander and Anya's retro-pastiche number, where he glances at the camera in surprise then changes words. It's just adorable, and so Xander to be getting ready to say "boobies" and decide to replace it with the innocuous "tight embrace."
The whole thing is just delightful and amazing. LOVE LOVE LOVE
