Stargate - spoilers
May. 10th, 2003 07:21 pmSo, I watched Meridian this afternoon, which is the one where Daniel Jackson is exposed to lethal radiation and they introduce the character of Jonas Quinn as more than just a one-off meeting.
I knew that Daniel was going to ascend, I'd seen it before, at least twice, and I still bawled like a baby. OK, not quite that bad, but I cried nonetheless.
I haven't heard any spoilers about what they're going to do with Jonas when Daniel comes back. Of course, I haven't looked very hard, either.
I love the character of Daniel, whether played by James Spader or Michael Shanks, and I am excited he's going to be coming back for Season Seven. I like Jonas, too, though. He certainly couldn't replace Daniel, and yet he gives the team a shot in the arm of wonder and awe at whatever new thing they put in front of him. I hope they don't just come back without him and give some cheese-off reason for his disappearance. I'd like to see some interaction between the two of them after Daniel's return.
