Wishlist 2015

I have signed up for
wishlist_fic, which is a multifandom holiday fic thing, with fics posted December 1st through 24th. If you'd like to leave me prompts in November (the rules say I can't take prompts before then), be thinking some up.
BSG would be preferred, obviously, but I watch other shows, so if you really want me to try writing in a new fandom, November's your chance to poke me.
I'll post again when I can start taking prompts.

Date: 2015-10-15 02:45 am (UTC)I'm gonna be thinking on BSG prompts for you but are there any other shows you'd be interested in writing about with no pressure, just for the challenge? I do solemnly swear to figure out enough about a show of your choosing to leave a prompt, if you wish. ;)

Date: 2015-10-15 04:36 am (UTC)I had fun with the prompts (mostly) Laura gave me last year.
I've considered doing something in Intelligence - I got some nibbles when I was watching it - but it didn't last long enough for me to get the voices right in my head. I'd have to binge-watch it so I could get a better handle on the two main characters.
I've also had an idea rolling around in my head about the book version of Vic, but I just finished the book in question, and I'm not sure that one's going to materialize. I got a couple of nibbles at the edges of my mind when I was watching Longmire, but those prompts have sat in that doc for over a year now with no progress, so I don't know. :/
Madam Secretary hasn't spurred any writing ideas in my head, and I have no idea which character would talk to me.
I also watch Arrow, Blue Bloods, Criminal Minds, NCIS, NCIS NOLA, Person of Interest, Scorpion, Blacklist, Chicago Fire, Grimm, Sleepy Hollow. There are a couple of others, but I'm not caught up, and CBS is stingy with their back episodes.
I'm going to catch up on Defiance. I don't know that it'll speak to me, but it's got a plethora of characters and perspectives.
You could always leave me a generic/general prompt and see where my muse goes with it. I do write original fic, too. What little I've finished is on AO3.
Plus, you have access to ALL my docs. Maybe there's something in there that strikes your fancy and says, "I want to be written NOW." lol

Date: 2015-10-15 09:36 am (UTC)I wrote a semi-detailed answer to that question up above.
There are probably several dozen other shows, considering how long I've been watching tv, but I can't think of any right off the top of my head.
I have your two fics open in another window, and I'm going to edit them as soon as I'm done watching NCIS. :D

Date: 2015-10-15 02:31 pm (UTC)*g* don't worry about it, there's still time to think about other tv shows you could write for. but let me know so that I can help pushing your boundaries :)
oh, that's great. thank you. I've almost finished writting another one but as I'm on constant cat watch right now, there's barely any room for anything. I so hope the little one makes it through.
