Aaaaiiieee! My eyes, my eyes...
May. 1st, 2003 02:31 pmThe Fowl one is Jen's mom? I don't remember that. Monotone, thy name is Mimi Rogers. Since when does any mother of a college age student need to wear something like that to meet said daughter's boyfriend? Almost as bad as that negligee during that X Files ep that we never mention. And since when does one confuse the much taller and bland straight boyfriend, insert name here with the nearly non-existent gay boyfriend, Jack? And since when is it much more dramatic to have a yelling ex-manfriend reveal the horrible truth to all and sundry? Grrrr. It could have been so much more touching another way.
After last night and then the previews for the rest of the series, I am doubly glad this one's over. Maybe I'll replace it with some reality programming. NOT. Although previews can sometimes (read nearly always) be misleading, it sure looks like they're going to saddle Joey with Dawson for the rest of her natural born life. Hope she buys some stock in a "toy" company, or from a "toy" company would work, too. She's gonna need it.
I am so confused about the ending of Angel. It's obvious to me from previous seasons that Wolfram & Hart are on the evil side of PTBs, and that they senior partners are likely not human in any way. They've brought people back from the dead before by using pretty powerful magic. Maybe she's really the First, LA style, and not dead brought back. Looove, American style, wooo-oooo.
Ahem.
I did think that maybe Connor's perception of Jasmine's appearance was colored by his experiences in the hell dimension. Turns out I was right. Vincent Kartheiser turned in some rocking performances last night. Can't wait to see where this one goes next week. Plus I want to know if Cordy's ever coming back. The real Cordy, not this evil mannequin/coma victim.
Kid has been so lovely at school this week. I have not gotten a single phone call. Stepford, thy name is Adderal.
I miss George.
