Caught up on Crossing Lines. I'm still liking it, especially the international flavor, but if it went away, I probably wouldn't even notice.
Sleepy Hollow. Watched the first three eps. Love. It. And not just because Tom Mison is a hottie. Which he totally is. I want to watch more, right frakkin' now. It's got me intrigued.
Blue Bloods. I'm kind of rooting for Jamie to finally get a relationship -
there seem to be hints of that in the new partner, which would of course be totally against regs, but not the first time patrol partners have gotten busy.
Anyway. Tom Selleck still has it when he grins - really grins, not the fake ones. He gets this glint of mischief in his eyes, and it does not matter even a tiny bit that he's actually 68 years old. This one is a habit, rather than must-see TV, but it's a good habit. To me it's just a great family drama with some police work thrown in. lol
NCIS LA. I'll admit I was looking for something a little more than just Kensi showing up at the last minute and
talking Deeks to sleep.
It was cute, but just seemed a little last minute - "oh yeah, we still have to figure out how to 'fix' Deeks and Kensi, so let's do this." I loved Sam and Deeks' moment in the hospital room, though. Very vague and male and saying everything without saying anything. Much more emotionally impactful to me than that Kensi/Deeks moment at the end of the second ep. Renee Felice Smith wore a rather unflattering outfit in the second ep.
CSI. Hmm. While it's good to finally get a resolution to the Ellie thing, it was an awful lot of trouble for Ellie to go to in order to get back at dear old dad. Camera angles were odd on both Jorja Fox and Elizabeth Harnois. I don't know. They both looked like they're either pregnant or they've put on weight - not that either of them looked bad. I wish they would figure out what to do with Morgan romantically. They keep playing pinball and giving us these little moments of friendship that seem like more, and then going nowhere with them. I did like Ecklie's comment to Morgan about how they need to steer clear of hospitals for a while.
I still need to watch Blacklist, but I can't get into the On Demand to watch the first ep, and only the second ep is on M's DVR. Annoying. Haven't gotten to NCIS yet. Haven't gotten to Person of Interest yet. Not going to bother with Bones. Not going to bother with Under the Dome. Continuum got erased from the DVR, so I'll have to find a different way to watch the rest of what's aired. :(
And there has not been enough smutty writing in this smut weekend - none, in fact. Whatever is the world coming to when Willow and I cannot write some smut together? Maybe this afternoon - she'll be gone until at least one for lunch with the fam.
And my long fic is at 77K words, which both thrills and scares me. If I can write nearly eighty-thousand words of fic, I can write that much or more of original stuff, which kind of covers both the thrilling and the frightening. Yes, I'm contrary. I haven't written on it in over a week (hell, I haven't written anything in over a week). I've been going over things from the beginning and examining from someone else's perspective, since she was kind enough to give it to me, and that has had the rather unfortunate side-effect of making my muse pouty and uncommunicative. Such a brat.
