BSG fandom meme

Stolen from someone who stole it from someone else.  I've slept since then, so I don't remember from whom.  OK.
My tags lied.  There's not much thinky here, just answers to the questions.

1.How did you get into this fandom?

Watched Dollhouse. Loved Tahmoh. Went looking for anything else he'd been in. Thought, well, people have
been telling me how great BSG is. Found out it was free on Amazon Prime. Mainlined BSG in September.
Went looking for fanfic to fix the Poof.  Found callmeonetrack on ff, then stalked her on lj until she friended
me so I could read the rest of her stuff.  Found lots more fans on lj and decided to come back and play. Started
at the beginning in several comms and worked my way through every single post, and kajillions of comments.

2.If I were to be written in as a character how would I be integrated into the storyline?

Someone behind the scenes who gets things done, organizes stuff, soothes crying babies, doesn't get noticed
until something doesn't happen the way it's supposed to. I would probably not have any lines. At the most, I'd
be an under-five. However, I would not hesitate to point out that Baltar is talking to thin air and somebody needs
to check that man's brain. I'm just blunt that way.

3.What is your current OTP and why?

Lee and Kara.  They love each other.  It’s not always healthy, and it’s not always sane, but it’s always love.
I also love to explore the frakbuddy backstory with Kara and Helo, 'cause Helo's my favorite tall character. :D

4.What is one pairing you hate and why?

I don’t know about hate, but I’m not a Kara/Sam fan, a Helo/Athena fan, an Adama/Roslin fan.  Those pairings just
don’t appeal to me. Like, at all. I can read K/S smut if there's a third party involved. Doesn't even have to be Lee.
I've found very little H/A fic that - I just can't. No matter how good the writer is, I find the two of them boring as hell.
I can read A/R gen fic - like that most recent remix - that was fantastic! The smut is just too much for my delicate
sensibilities. There are some things I just do not wish to see in my head.
