Not Prime Time has two new BSG fics - one a Kara/Sam (PG-13), and the other Laura Roslin detective noir (G). If you're interested in that sort of thing. :D

A year ago (A YEAR!!) hobbit_kate prompted me on bsg_epics: What if Kara was stranded on the Raptor/Caprica with Helo, instead of Boomer?

It took me a while to figure out how to make it happen, but finally I managed to get the muse to cooperate.

If you're into smut, Better With Age happens because Helo's in the fleet instead of stuck on Caprica.

This was written as a birthday gift for suzy_queue, who is not even a BSG fan. The idea struck me to write her a story about books, though, and this is what came from it.

I took liberties with the myth, assuming that without books, Kara would remember details sketchily, if at all, and fifteen years would have further degraded Kacey's memory of what Kara had told her.

I certainly didn't set out to write a sad story. I hope that despite that, you appreciate the idea of a young adult holding a book precious for its memories.
