This is the fifth or sixth email I've gotten from the information
security people here at the university. Maybe this will be useful
information to someone.

Tomorrow is the day when the "MyWife" (or "KamaSutra", Nyxem",
"Blackworm") worm will activate its payload and overwrite ALL Excel,
Word and Powerpoint documents, as well as certain types of archive
files (ZIP and RAR.) (A FAQ has been created here -
<http://blogs.securiteam.com/index.php/archives/260><http://blogs.securi>)

Home users should make sure that, whatever AV software you're using,
it's up to date. Then run a full scan of your computer, to ensure
you're not infected. All the AV vendors have protection for this
virus IF your antivirus software is up to date. DO NOT TAKE A CHANCE
with this. Make sure you are covered.

For those of you who have no AV software at all (or you just want a
second opinion), you can go to housecall and do an online scan of your
computer - <http://housecall.trendmicro.com/>
