This is...wow. Complicated, complex, like the flip side to smut, showing how things could play out differently and more messy than expected. Bill's reaction feels right for a real-life Bill (one who hasn't been a part of kink for years :-) ). I'm hearing a strong message of "not as easy as the books make it look" and that feels right with Kara's background. Her feelings are the dickens to get a fix on here--she's got a ton of push-pull going on. Which is so Kara...this is one that takes more than one read--it's that rich and thoughtful.
