saturday morning stuff
May. 10th, 2003 03:19 pmTalk about your weird dreams! I don't recall ever dreaming about a television character before, much less a character IN character. Let me just say that I now completely understand Buffy's attraction to Angel. Hoo!
Ok, moving on.
Kid was picked up this morning to spend the day with her paternal grandparents, and I could've used the day to do ME stuff that had nothing whatsoever to do with MOM stuff. So, do I? Of course not. I laze around, do pretty much nothing, waiting for Andromeda to come on. This is the one that guest-starred Michael Shanks, Christopher Judge and JR Bourne. I really enjoyed Michael's previous guest role on Andromeda, especially as I was missing Daniel Jackson so much, and haven't watched Andromeda in quite a while, so it was fun. The inevitable fight scene between Michael's AI and Lexa's AI was fairly well choreographed, but I couldn't help but think throughout that Michael and Lexa must have been having sooo much fun with it. They looked as if they had been practicing beating each other up for weeks. That aside, I didn't enjoy this one as much as the other one, despite the additional presence of Judge and Bourne. Maybe it was just that I haven't seen it in quite a while and was a bit lost, plot-wise. I'm missing Keith Hamilton Cobb already. He pretty much phoned his performance in, more's the pity.
I get to have dinner tonight with Kid and her grandparents, thankfully on someone's else's dime. Kid always picks good restaurants, so I have something else to look forward to this evening. Yay!
ta for now...
