Random update

I got the weirdest email from BN today, thanking me for choosing Nook Simple Touch.  Now, since I have done no such thing, my first thought is that this is some kind of scam, but I've examined this email every way I know how and it looks legit.  I gotta figure that it's a mistake somehow, because I can't imagine why someone would buy me a Nook without telling me.  Unless I won it?  I won a Kindle Fire a year and a half ago, but I got an email telling me, so it wasn't a surprise.  Guess I'll find out maybe in a week or so when I get a package, or in a day or so when I get an apology email from BN.

How soon is too soon to tell a beta-reader you love her?  OMG.  If she never reads another thing for me, which no, please, no, the questions and comments she's had on this one fic I've been working on have already got stuff percolating, and helped me choose between two very different directions going forward.  So, um, if it's too soon for love, well, I'm in serious like.  :D
