Random Wodensday Shtuff

At Chili's tonight, I waited and waited for the waitress to come refill my tea after she asked if I wanted more.  Then I got up and got it myself.  She never even noticed.  Neither did anyone else.  Attention FAIL.  Ashley didn't come back to the table until I need *another* refill.  She also didn't bring us a chip refill.  I had to ask for the chips to go when she finally asked if we were ready for the check.  She was a little dim for a waitress.  Also, a girl named Jamie came to the table when she saw I was empty again, and when she noticed that we were done, she offered to get us both To Go cups, the big ones, instead of just refilling our drinks.  We decided that we like Jamie so much that we're going to call ahead and see if she's working next time we go.  lol

Roommate/landlord told a friend that I could rebuild a carburetor.  Said friend replies, "I think I'm going to have to get to know Lana a lot better.  There's more to her than I thought there was."  For some reason, this amuses me greatly.  I think of it and can't stop giggling.

Roommate/landlord has also been writing a song today and playing the same damn thing over and over and over and over and over and OMG.  I am thankful to have a roof over my head, and yet.......

I got to talk to my grandson via Google Hangouts the other day.  He is just too cute, but as with all toddlers, gets bored quickly and wants to stop talking to gramma and move on to something else. 

I bought my second christmas album ever.  The first was Jethro Tull several years ago.  No, hell is not frozen over.  I expect it will be another ten or fifteen years before I buy another one.
