Alias, some more
Jan. 26th, 2006 09:22 amFinished Season 1, and even though I should have gone to sleep right then, I just had to know, so I watched the first episode of Season 2. Lena Olin in these episodes reminds me of Linda Blair in facial features.
Note to DVD people: The unskippable blurb leading into the episodes should not be a recap of the season I am getting ready to watch but have NOT YET SEEN. Morons. Now I am spoiled for a lot of major plot points which I would have been happier not knowing {Francie}.
The bonus features on disc 6 of Season 1 included deleted scenes. One of them was Will talking to Francie about the spooning. So funny. "She did think maybe, didn't she?" There's also a gag reel, with one extended bit with Jennifer Garner and Victor Garber in an elevator, where they cannot stop laughing at each other. Since he doesn't smile much in the series, this is fun to see.
I love Will's speech after he finds out. So sweet. "I don't love you for what you do, or for what you don't do. I just love you." His reassurances that he will never discuss her work say that even more clearly. Everybody should have a friend like that. Amazing that canonically, they've only known each other three or four years at this point. In my experience, most male/female couples who get as close as they are in such a short time would be lovers as well as friends. In a way, I like that they don't go there with these two.
