Lj servers now reside in Russia
If you haven’t heard the news, SUP has relocated the Livejournal servers to Russia. The concerns associated with this move are fairly well documented here and here.
I will be exporting my personal and fic journals to Dreamwidth in the near future. If you own fic comms and want that fic preserved for posterity, check out the second link to learn how easy it is to export to DW. I know it's not the same, but the privacy concerns are REAL.
