If you just have a regular Nook and not one of the fancy ones, then it probably won't do nearly all the stuff your Kindle Fire will do. I have a Nook Simple Touch and I just use it to read, and as far as I know my old Nooks (first gen) were the same, meaning they're good for reading books and that's about it. ;-) I'm sure the fancy newer Nook that is like a tablet (the color one, I guess) does more stuff. I can't get it to the internet unless I'm literally inside a B&N, and now they're closing all the ones by me down so yeah, it's just books for me!
